A 5Rhythms® Movement Retreat & Creative Immersion

In the lengthened days of summer’s Solstice we are immersed in light.

It is in this light, we can see into ourselves, dance toward new levels of clarity and creative expression. When we shine our light, illuminating the wholeness of who we are, opportunities arise to embody a full spectrum of ourselves. And with light comes shadow: our enhanced ability to see and feel can reveal aspects of ourselves we might have denied or not integrated before.

When we come together in the healing movement practice of the 5Rhythms, we enter the dance with ourselves, quite literally “embodying” our body, heart, mind and soul. Letting in what is alive for us, accepting ourselves as we are, expressing our truth and letting go what is ready to be shed.

As our inner light travels outward into immersive artistic expression, we maneuver what’s sacred into common personal experience. We reshape the boundaries often labelled as “creative” by clearing new pathways for connecting to creative expression. In full view of both the light and shadow of our dance, we invite you closer to your creative edges, where movement meets brave and vulnerable artistry.

Join us for this transformative experience where immersive art meets the heart, dance sparks your spirit and ritual opens you to the rhythms of light.

Open your body and heart with transformative movement

A Moment to Pause – Words from Bettina
The Summer Solstice that we celebrate in the Northern Hemisphere on June 20 holds the invitation to pause, to  “stand still”.

We ask what is in the light of your awareness right now? What is ready to be let in, let out and let go? Where are you able to move into acceptance, into letting be, with what is moving in and around you?

Often it just takes a moment to lean into ourselves, to tune in, to become quiet enough to drop below the chatter of the mind into what is REALLY going on. The 5Rhythms® movement practice offers maps to our innermost being and breaks down the process of how life energy moves. The aim of this dance is to vitalize and to unleash the wild and untamed spontaneous freedom we are all born with. It is a path from depression into expression. It is a philosophy, a perspective and a practice about how life moves and changes.

Take a moment right now to notice what is alive in your body, what is moving… in your belly, in your chest… where do you sense your breath? How is your heart space? What is running through your mind? Don’t cling to it – just notice. Be with what is present right now and listen…
